TAKING MY GOD FOR A WALK: Why does anyone go on pilgrimage? What can you expect? What difference does it make? Tony Collins will be speaking about pilgrimage past and present and the experience of walking the Camino de Santiago, at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday 19th November at the Bookkeeper Bookshop, Kings Road, St Leonards (near Warrior Square station). Come and enjoy a cheerful evening in the wonderful cozy atmosphere of this delightful shop.

Pilgrimage to Canterbury Cathedral

Fr Neil is leading this, on 26th November, but unfortunately it's now full. A party from St John's is off to see one of England's greatest cathedrals! There will be a guided tour of the cathedral, we will celebrate Mass together, and attend Evensong. It will be a good opportunity to prepare ourselves for the start of Advent. “Quiet”

A time devoted to quiet prayer, guided meditation and "listening to God", in the Church and Chapel. We may respond with words, images or contemplative prayer. Wear old clothes or bring an apron if you choose to paint. No talent or experience needed. Please let Rev Jill know if possible, or just turn up.
